This is the first Ahare Space Project installation, and it focuses on breathing through the context of well-being medical art, combining sensory impressions and associations to create a holistic five-sensory experience. Starting with a Breathing Workshop on "Tanden Breathing," a breathing technique that has been passed down for many years in the East and is called the "ultimate way of health care," we created an incense exhibition space made of extremely thin Japanese paper that was specially commissioned for this occasion.
Participants take a deep breath and look up to the sky while listening to the scent inside the washi paper tube. Looking down, they can see clear nature beyond. We designed the incense architecture while reexamining the relationship between nature and humans.
