「 CONCRETE LABORATORY 」
This installation incorporates the research that Ahare Space Project has been doing for about a year since the project started, including research into the sense of smell, pursuit of three-dimensional space that visualizes wind, and experiments to connect with nature. The video work "Being with the wind" was also unveiled.
The fragrance element that promotes the environment and experience will touch your action tag and become a key to access the inspiration in your own universe.
Our attempt to experiment with the generation of the equivalent of the abstract image of fragrance is an action that is permeated by an intermedia process that is expressed automatically.
We assume that the fragrance of each occasion creates images and philosophies, and that an invisible community is born in the place, overlapping and connecting, creating a concept that can be called a new architecture.
The inspiration for the story of this exhibition was the Japanese modernist poet, Kitazono Katsue. Kitazono became one of Japan's leading poets at the same time as the rise of concrete poetry (experimental poetry that focuses on the materiality of letters and develops visually) which spread worldwide in the 1950s. His "Plastic Poems" are photographs of familiar materials such as string, newspaper, wire, stones, and clay arranged on a mount, which he described as "poetry itself."
The fragrance designs we create are born from approaches from various angles, relationships with people, and the blessings of nature.
Just like painting a picture, a fragrance design always reaches a moment of completion and is filled with poetic beauty when it is named. Just as he described it as "poetry," we capture scents in our own unique way and design scented architecture.
I believe that this "Concrete Laboratory" exhibition was able to convey our attitude and share the beautiful moment when fragrant design is born.
We had people experience the story of scent architecture contained within "0."
